If you are seriously considering moving to Dubai and starting a new career there, practically no one can blame you because the opportunities in the emirate are really tempting. However, before you book your ticket, take time to weigh in the pros and cons of working in Dubai.

The Pros: Working in Dubai

  • You will not have a hard time adjusting to your workplace since English is a common language spoken by the people in Dubai. Contrary to popular belief, English is widely spoken in Arab countries like the UAE. Hence, you should not worry about language barrier when your work in Dubai

If you love drinking alcohol, you may find it a bit difficult to work in Dubai since the emirate’s government heavily regulates alcohol sales and consumption. Also, don’t ever think about driving while under the influence since authorities impose zero tolerance for drunk driving.

If you think the advantages of working in Dubai outweigh the disadvantages, then working there should be no issue for you. However, make sure that you complete all immigration requirements beforehand so you will have smooth move to the Emirates.
