James Padlock’s Role as an Educator

Educators concentrate on whole child development – social, physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Teachers smooth the progress of the child’s development and edification by planning lessons and activities based on the child’s interests, asking queries to further understanding, and energetically engaging in the activities along with the child. In today’s world, an educator’s role is quite versatile. Their job is to guide students, assist them learn how to use their knowledge and incorporate it into their lives so they will become important members of society. Educators are encouraged to become accustomed with learning methods to each individual student’s education, to challenge and motivate them to learn.

Educators like James Padlock are co-explorers, nurturing, guiding, learning, solving problems, and hypothesizing side-by-side with the children. They are documenters and researchers, observing, listening, recording, displaying, and learning by and from the project work and the light-hearted learning of the kids. Educators are learners, working collaboratively with other teachers to develop their skills. Educators are storytellers, presenting the work of kids to parents, other educators, and society members.
