Different Ways to Simplify Luggage Packing When Traveling
By being methodical in your luggage packing, you can pack your traveling bags within a short time and still carry everything you need.
Packing is one task that most people absolutely dread. If you experience a hard time packing luggage, you have to start by looking at the source of the problem. For instance, the problem could be that you are carrying more than you need, in which case the solution is to reduce what you carry. Another problem could be that your suitcases have little holding capacity. In this case, you should buy bigger suitcases that will allow you to carry all the items that you need.
Once you have sorted the size of your traveling bags, you should make a list of the things you want to carry. Separate your list into clothes, shoes, toiletries, gadgets, books, medicine and other items. Decide which of these items need to go into hand luggage and which ones need to go into the main luggage. Depending on where you are going for your holiday, you may need to bring with you luggage that is specific for taking part in activities offered at your destination. If going to Vietnam, confirm what activities are contained in your tour Vietnam package and carry everything you need. Try as much as possible to reduce your pile of luggage to a minimum. There’s a tendency when traveling to carry way too much luggage, most of which will not be put to use. In addition to being too heavy to cart around, it will increase the amount of money you need to pay at the airport. If there are things that you can easily buy at your destination, do not carry them. As well, carry minimal amounts of clothes and make use of laundry services at the destination.
When packing, start by wrapping your shoes in paper and line them at the bottom of the suitcase. Also line the edges with books and guides. Put your gadgets in your handheld luggage. Before you pack items that crease, such as dresses, shirts and trousers, put a flat surface in the suitcase and then lay out these items, allowing them to flow out over the edge of the suitcase. Then roll up items like t-shirts and underwear into rectangular shapes and lay them out on the dresses and shirts. Bring the edges of the dresses and shirts over the pile and fold at the top of the pile. If you have several layers of clothing, you can use plain white paper to separate. You can even fasten some of the luggage in layers to prevent items from being tossed around in the suitcase. This way, when you get to your destination and start unpacking for your Mekong Delta tour, it will be easier to place where every item is. As you finish your packing, don’t forget to wrap your toiletries in plastic bags to prevent spills. These few simple steps can turn packing into a relaxed 20 minute activity.
